Exit from the Neuhaus Partners portfolio: Testroom acquired by Ströer Content Group
Hamburg, May 21, 2019 –
The Ströer Content Group acquires Testroom GmbH, an investment from the Neuhaus Partners portfolio. Matthias Grychta, Managing Director at Neuhaus Partners: “We are very proud of how the content marketing specialist Testroom has grown in recent years and has become more and more profitable. Now is the right time for a transaction”.
The Hamburg-based agencies Content Fleet, a Ströer subsidiary, and Testroom are merging under the umbrella of Ströer. More than 140 employees from Hamburg and Berlin then look after customers such as BMW M, Saturn, Henkel, Hyundai, Novartis and KIND.
Nearly a hundred editors, video specialists and social media experts create content, then distribute it via all channels with privileged access in the various media. “A unique selling point of the new agency is content analysis through the use of artificial intelligence. We are particularly proud of this in-house development. It minimizes wastage in content marketing,” says Testroom founder Michael Dunker. “After the AI, the journalistic approach is always at the centre – the power of good story”.
“I am very happy about the reinforcement of our team. We are thus pushing our market position in digital content marketing in Germany and can serve our customers even more comprehensively,” says Philip Dipner, CEO of Content Fleet. Together with Michael Dunker, he heads the new agency, which will operate under the name Content Fleet GmbH in the future. “Together we are a strong agency that offers data-driven content marketing with journalistic expertise independent of publishers or agency networks,” says Michael Dunker.
The greatest strength of the new Content Fleet is its integrated approach: “Our form of digital content marketing connects all channels in order to disseminate the messages of our clients in a target-group-oriented manner,” says Philip Dipner. “We cover the entire value chain from consulting and analysis to the technical realization of digital platforms, content creation, distribution and performance measurement.
Ströer now took over Testroom GmbH, founded in 2008, and will merge it with its subsidiary Content Fleet GmbH. Testroom founder Michael Dunker remains on board as managing partner, Philip Dipner as CEO. In the new formation, Content Fleet will serve more than 50 customers from all sectors of the economy.
